Free vs Pro: Key Differences
The most significant differences between Free and Pro are:
- Offline maps — Pro only. The free map requires a data connection.
- Scent cone — Pro only. Wind arrows are free; the full scent dispersion model is Pro.
- LiDAR — Pro only. The highest-resolution terrain layer.
- AI heatmap — Pro only.
- Team features — the team map, live positions, chat, annotations, and cabin booking all require Pro.
- Dog tracking — Pro only.
- Waypoint limit — 5 free vs unlimited Pro.
- HuntCast range — 3 days free vs 16 days Pro.
Try Pro Free for 7 Days
New accounts receive a 7-day free Pro trial automatically — no credit card required. Every feature in ProHunt is fully unlocked during the trial. After 7 days, the account returns to Free unless you choose to subscribe.
After your trial, your Free account retains all data saved during the trial period. Waypoints beyond the 5-item Free limit are archived and become accessible again if you upgrade to Pro.
