            Summary: ProHunt is a hunting companion app. By using it you agree to hunt legally, use the data responsibly, and understand that field conditions require your own judgement. These terms govern your use of the ProHunt mobile application.
        

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using ProHunt ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the App or via email.

2. Description of Service

ProHunt is a mobile application that provides:

Interactive hunting maps with terrain, satellite, and custom overlays
HuntCast — AI-powered hunting condition predictions based on weather data
Hunt journal for logging hunts, routes, and observations
Team GPS sharing and safety check-in features
Dog tracking integration
Waypoint and equipment management
Cabin booking functionality

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal hunting age in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to use the App. By using ProHunt, you represent that you meet these age requirements and have the legal right to hunt in your jurisdiction.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use ProHunt only for lawful purposes. You must NOT:

Use the App to facilitate illegal hunting, poaching, or trespassing
Share the location of protected or endangered species with intent to harm
Use the team GPS feature to track individuals without their knowledge and consent
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
Use the App in a way that interferes with other users' experience
Upload harmful, offensive, or illegal content
Violate any applicable hunting regulations, wildlife protection laws, or land access rights

6. Hunting Safety Disclaimer

Important: ProHunt is a digital tool — it does NOT replace situational awareness, proper firearms safety, or compliance with local hunting laws. Always exercise your own judgement in the field.

HuntCast predictions are estimates based on weather data and general wildlife patterns. They do not guarantee animal presence or hunting success. Actual conditions may vary.
GPS and location data may be inaccurate, delayed, or unavailable in areas with poor reception. Never rely solely on the App for navigation in remote terrain.
Dog tracking depends on external tracker hardware and Bluetooth/cellular connectivity. Signal interruptions are expected in forest environments.
Team safety features (SOS alerts, check-ins) require an active data connection. They supplement — but do not replace — proper safety planning, communication devices, and emergency contacts.
Weather data is sourced from third-party providers and may not reflect real-time conditions at your exact location.

You acknowledge that hunting involves inherent risks and that ProHunt, its developers, and affiliates bear no responsibility for injuries, accidents, or losses that occur during hunting activities.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create in the App (hunt logs, waypoints, photos, notes). By using the App, you grant ProHunt a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring that content you upload does not infringe on third-party rights or violate applicable law.

8. Subscription & Payments

ProHunt offers Free, Pro, and Team subscription tiers.
Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Billing terms are governed by the respective platform's terms.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Refunds are handled by the respective app store according to their refund policies.
We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice. Existing subscribers will not be affected mid-billing cycle.

9. Data & Privacy

Your use of ProHunt is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data. Key points:

Location data is used to provide map and tracking features and is not sold to third parties.
Hunt logs and personal data are stored locally on your device and, where applicable, in secure cloud storage (Firebase).
You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

10. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, code, trademarks, and content (excluding user-generated content) are the property of ProHunt and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the App or its content without written permission.

11. Third-Party Services

ProHunt integrates with third-party services including:

Mapbox — mapping and navigation
Firebase — authentication, data storage, and notifications
OpenWeatherMap / YR.no — weather data
Sentry — crash reporting and performance monitoring

These services have their own terms and privacy policies. ProHunt is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

ProHunt is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate.
In no event shall ProHunt, its developers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.
Our total liability for any claims related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ProHunt and its developers from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law.

14. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, engage in illegal activity, or abuse the Service.
Upon termination, your right to use the App ends immediately. Data stored locally on your device remains under your control.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Sweden, unless otherwise required by consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.
