The ProHunt Community connects hunters on a shared platform for knowledge, reports, and discovery. Post sightings, share local tips and knowledge, and learn from other hunters — from trip reports and local intel to species observations and public land tips.
What You Can Share
- Hunt reports — summary posts from your Hunt Journal with controlled location detail (you choose how precise)
- Observations — animal sightings, rut sign, trail camera finds, and habitat notes
- Public land tips — access points, parking areas, productive public land areas (with optional approximate-only locations)
- Questions and help — ask for advice on hunting a new area or species from experienced local hunters
- Gear reviews — share honest reviews of collars, stands, optics, and other equipment
Never share exact stand coordinates publicly in the community. Use the approximate location setting (fuzzy by 1-3 km radius) when posting map pins publicly. Your private waypoints are never shared without your explicit action.
Privacy Controls
Every community post has granular privacy controls:

Location precision is independently controlled — you can make a post public while displaying only an approximate region rather than your exact hunting spot.

Follow other hunters to build a personalised feed of trip reports and observations, and discover local knowledge relevant to where and what you hunt.
Community Guidelines
The community is moderated to maintain a positive, ethical hunting environment. Prohibited content includes:
- Evidence of or encouragement of illegal hunting activity
- Disrespectful treatment of harvested animals
- Harassment of other users or landowners
- Misinformation about regulations, safety, or hunting practices
- Commercial spam or unsolicited promotion
Violations can be reported using the flag icon on any post. Serious violations result in account suspension.

- Is the ProHunt community free to use?
- Yes. Posting and reading community content — hunt reports, observations, tips, and questions — is available on both the Free and Pro plans. Pro adds advanced privacy controls and team-only sharing.
- Can I share my hunting spots with other users?
- You can share approximate locations with other users, but you are always in control of the precision. Use the approximate location setting to fuzz a post pin by 1–3 km. Exact coordinates of your private waypoints are never shared without your explicit action.
- How do I report someone in the community?
- Tap the flag icon on any post or comment. Reports are reviewed by the ProHunt moderation team. Serious violations result in account suspension. You can also block individual users from your account settings.
- Who can see my community posts?
- Each post has an independent privacy setting: Public (all ProHunt users), Friends only (mutual follows), Team only (your team members), or Private (only you). You set this each time you post.
