Yes! The Free tier includes the full interactive map with satellite imagery, 5 waypoints, basic hunt logging, 3-day HuntCast predictions, weather HUD with wind arrows, and the deer ProRut calendar. No credit card required.
Pro ($49/year) and Team ($99/year) unlock advanced features like scent cone analysis, 16-day HuntCast, offline maps, dog tracking, and team GPS.
ProHunt runs on Android 8.0+ and iOS 15+. It's optimised for both phones and tablets.
A free account (email or Google Sign-In) is needed to save your data and sync across devices. Sign-up takes about 30 seconds.
Features
HuntCast analyses 10 factors — temperature, wind speed/direction, barometric pressure trend, precipitation, humidity, moon phase, sunrise/sunset, cloud cover, and species-specific rut activity — to generate an hourly hunt score from 0-100.
The Free tier shows 3 days; Pro/Team unlocks a full 16-day forecast with ranked best hours. Data comes from Open-Meteo (free, no API key required).
ProHunt works with any GPS collar that shares real-time location via Bluetooth or a companion app — including Tractive, PetFon, Fi, and many generic $30–100 collars. You do NOT need an $800 Garmin Alpha.
Setup: pair your collar's companion app, then ProHunt reads the GPS coordinates and displays your dog(s) on the map in real time.
Yes. Pro and Team subscribers can download map regions for offline use. Saved waypoints, hunt logs, track recordings, and cached weather data all work without cell signal. Data syncs automatically when you reconnect.
The scent cone visualises how wind carries your human scent from your position. It shows a coloured cone on the map based on real-time wind direction and speed. Equipment (stands, blinds) get green/yellow/red ratings based on whether deer would scent you from that position.
No other hunting app has this feature.
Team members see each other on the map in real time (requires data connection). The SOS button sends your exact GPS position to all teammates and pre-configured emergency contacts with one tap. Safety zones and check-in timers help you account for everyone.
Important: SOS requires cellular/data connectivity. It supplements — but does not replace — proper safety equipment and emergency contacts.
The Augmented Reality Head-Up Display overlays hunting data on your phone's camera view — see dog positions, team members, wind direction, waypoints, and distance markers in the real world. ProHunt is the first hunting app to offer AR.
Subscription & Billing
Open ProHunt → Settings → Subscription. Choose Pro or Team and confirm through Google Play or the Apple App Store. Your subscription activates instantly.
Yes, anytime. Go to your device's subscription settings (Google Play Store → Subscriptions, or iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions). Access continues until the end of your current billing period.
Refunds are handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store according to their policies. We don't process payments directly — all billing goes through the platform.
Data & Privacy
No. We do NOT sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers. Your location data stays on your device unless you explicitly share it with your team. See our full Privacy Policy.
Yes. Email core.development37@gmail.com with your account email and we'll delete your account and all associated cloud data within 48 hours. Local data on your device can be removed by uninstalling the app.
Troubleshooting
1. Check your internet connection — the map needs data for the first load.
2. Make sure location permissions are granted (Settings → Apps → ProHunt → Permissions → Location).
3. Try closing and reopening the app.
4. If the issue persists, clear the app cache (Settings → Apps → ProHunt → Storage → Clear Cache).
GPS accuracy depends on satellite visibility. For best results:
• Make sure "High Accuracy" location mode is enabled on your device.
• Stand in an open area for initial lock (forests and valleys reduce accuracy).
• Give the GPS 30–60 seconds after opening the app to get a fix.
• On Android, enable "Google Location Accuracy" in Settings → Location.
